弗吉尼亚州立大学瓦尔多斯塔芭蕾舞学校将于1月28日至29日呈现灰姑娘

VALDOSTA — Back by popular demand, the Valdosta School of Ballet, in partnership with Valdosta State University Theatre and Dance, will present Cinderella Jan. 28-29 on the Mathis City Auditorium stage.

A ballet composed by Sergei Prokofiev to a scenario by Nikolai Volkov, Cinderella is a variation of the original rags-to-riches tale. It was completed in 1945, premiered at the Bolshoi Theatre in November of that year, and is notable for its exuberant music, elaborate scenery, and, of course, the pair of less-than-lovely stepsisters.  

演出时间为1月28日（周六）晚上7点半，29日（周日）下午3点。Tickets are available at the door and are $12 for adults and $10 for children.

这部经典芭蕾舞的收入将捐给瓦尔多斯塔州立大学的黄金圈奖学金和支持基金，用于爱博体育戏剧和舞蹈的优秀学生。
