VSU Convocation Set for Monday

VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University will hold its 2007 Convocation at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, in Whitehead Auditorium.
During the event, faculty and staff excellence awards will be presented and President Ronald M. Zaccari will deliver the “State of the University” address. The presentation will cover a variety of important topics related to the upcoming academic year, including an update on the $120 million campus transformation. All members of the faculty, staff and VSU community are invited to attend the address.

The president’s remarks will be aired live on VSU-TV, Cable Channel 11, and will be re-aired on a taped delayed basis at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, Wednesday, Aug. 8, and Friday, Aug. 10. Those who prefer can watch via the World Wide Web at http://cinema.valdosta.edu:8080/ramgen/broadcast/vsutv.rm .
